Ear Candling

Service Description

Sanity starts by examining the ear with an Otoscope to examine the condition of the ear and noting the type of wax that has built up, after which you will be asked to lay on one side and the candle will be positioned in the ear. The positioning is key as a vacuum seal allows the candle to work properly. After 15 minutes the candle will have spent and will be extinguished in a bowl of cold water and placed to one side. You will then be asked to move to the other side and the process repeated with the other ear. Finally you will lay on your back, close your eyes and a head and sinus drainage massage will enhance the benefit of the candling. Ideal if you suffer with sinus issues, just recovering from a bad cold or for frequent flyers helps with the air compression during flight.
